Drug Induced Injury – Risk and Causation

19th October 2006

Causation of drug induced injury is a complex problem for both medical experts and the courts. Although lawyers and regulatory scientists use similar statistical approaches in determining the probability of injury being caused by particular agents, they adopt very different standards of proof and may reach very different conclusions.

This multi-disciplinary seminar will discuss ways in which drug induced injury is investigated by regulatory scientists and physicians and compare this to the assessment of causation by the Court.

If you are interested in attending this seminar please contact Ms Nava Beheshti on or 0207 822 2000.
