11th December 2009

What this event is about?
Recent years have seen the emergence of a large body of legal instruments, institutions and practice and procedures specifically designed to address the issue of terrorism. This seminar will consider whether this body as yet constitutes a distinct category of international law. The speakers will examine this question from a number of perspectives, including human rights, international criminal law, international humanitarian law and the principles governing the use of force.

Solicitors and barristers may claim 2 CPD hours through attendance at this event.
